The MFTHBA is excited to announce this year’s regional winners with the Fox Trot America program.

2015 Regional Winners:

Region 6: Sherri Beasley and Cardinal’s Red Rooster

Region 7: Karen Jackson and Missouri Gold Traverler-SS

Region 8: Cindy Chase and C.B.’s Southern Spice

Region 9: Cindy Fonken and Smokey Joe’s Diamond Jim

Region 10: Vicki Rice  and Rhythm’s Super Star

Fox Trot America recognizes MFTHBA members and their registered Missouri Fox Trotting Horses for hours spent riding.  All hours spent in the saddle may be counted toward the hour total for the horse.  All participating riders and horses receive cumulative hour recognition.  Beginning with the 2014 riding year, the MFTHBA started recognizing the yearly regional winners.  Winning horses received a custom embroidered horn bag to commemorate the achievement.

In addition to the yearly and cumulative awards, one participate will receive a new saddle courtesy of Hedgpeth Saddlery, the official Trail Saddle of the MFTHBA.  Each Fox Trot America nominated horse that had a riding log submitted by the January 31 was entered to win.  This year’s saddle winner is Region 7 member April Klaproth and her horse Joseefus.  Learn more about Hedgpeth Saddlery at http://www.hedgpetheasyride.com.
