When asked, “Why did you decide on Playboy? What did you see in him as a colt?” Clyde answered, “Playboy had a natural fox trot gait from birth. When I broke him to lead he had that natural gait when you would lead him. I could run alongside Playboy and he would fox trot naturally on the halter lead. He never hard trotted, nor paced. People, everyone, could tell that Playboy was just different than any other colt.”
