MFTHBA Medal Program
3 Awards Silver and Gold Medal For each level reached, the owner of the horse will receive a certificate and a coin in the appropriate color for the achievement. The achievement will also be noted in the horse’s file and will be listed on the horse’s registration papers. The recognition will also be listed on the papers of future offspring (1st generation and second generation). This recognition will also be added in the event the first or second generation offspring reprints their papers. The owner may pay to receive an updated copy of the horse’s papers. When the horse advances up a medal, the old designation will be replaced by the new one (i.e., if a horse already had a silver medal in western pleasure, when they earn a gold, only the gold medal will be designated on the papers or that of their future offspring). Horses reaching a medal level will be recognized in the annual Celebration Catalog during the year achieved (i.e., horses that earn a medal in 2021 would be listed in the 2022 Catalog). All Around Awards When an All-Around level is achieved, the owner of the horse will receive a plaque (including the horse’s name, date awarded, and achievement). Horses reaching the Supreme All-Around level will receive a trophy (including the horse’s name, date awarded, and achievement). Both All-Around awards will be presented during the World Show and Celebration.
