MFTHBA Medal Program

5 Categories The program will strive to provide a diverse set of categories to recognize the accomplishments of Missouri Fox Trotting Horses and Ponies. The list below is the categories available. The abbreviation at the end will be the designation used when designating awards on registration papers. 1. Pleasure Horse (includes all types of pleasure classes including English, western, country, etc.)-PH 2. Pleasure Driving-PD 3. Hunter/Jumper (includes classes over fences, and jumper classes)-HJ 4. Model-M 5. Performance-P 6. Working Horse (reining and trail classes)-WH 7. Ranch Horse (includes cutting, roping, working cow horse, ranch horse pleasure, ranch horse conformation, Team Penning, Ranch Sorting, and other ranch horse competitions)-RH 8. Timed Events (barrels, Gymkhana)-TE 9. Competitive Trail-CT 10. Endurance-E 11. Dressage-D 12. Trail Obstacle-TO 13. Trail Riding-TR 14. Sport Competition (Cowboy Mounted Shooting, Mounted Archery, Jousting, etc.)-SC 15. Ambassador (this category includes events that are not judged, verified or otherwise placed. Events in this category provide visibility and promotion for our breed. Events in this category include the participation in parades, equine expo demonstrations, mounted search and rescue, field trial events, foxhunting, drill teams, Fox Trot America and other similar events)-A 16.
