MFTHBA Medal Program

8 Breeding This award will be used to recognize sires and dams for the achievements of their registered offspring points earned by offspring at MFTHBA sponsored shows and point shows. Sire: • Silver Medal: 1500 points earned by a minimum of three different offspring • Gold Medal: 3000 points earned by a minimum of six different offspring Dam: • Silver Medal: 300 points earned by a minimum of two offspring • Gold Medal: 600 points earned by a minimum of three offspring Program Launch Timeline and Promotion: The MFTHBA Medal Program will officially launch in January 2021. Program Review and Updates Following the launch of the program, feedback will be encouraged and sought from MFTHBA partner programs and participants. At the end of 2021, the initial members of the program design committee will convene to review feedback and make recommendations for improvements. These recommendations will be presented to the MFTHBA Board of Directors no later than December 1, 2021. After the initial review, a committee will be convened every two years to review the program and make suggestions for improvements.
