The Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Breed Association (MFTHBA) Board of Directors recently met to address the vacancy in the Secretary/Treasurer position. The Board understands the significance of this role and is committed to finding a qualified replacement to serve our members effectively.

To ensure a thorough selection process, the MFTHBA Board is now accepting applications from interested candidates. Please submit a written notice of interest to the MFTHBA office by 4 p.m. on January 24, 2025.

Position Overview: The Secretary/Treasurer is a vital leadership role within the MFTHBA, responsible for managing the MFTHBA office and overseeing its personnel. Interested individuals are encouraged to review page 12 of the MFTHBA bylaws for a detailed list of responsibilities.

Requirements: The candidate must be a member in good standing and eligible to serve.  The selected candidate must be bonded. The MFTHBA will cover the bond cost, but the chosen individual must pass a credit check successfully.

Length of Appointment: The selected individual will serve until October 31, 2025, when a new Secretary/Treasurer will be elected.
