Arizona Fox Trotter Association Donates Funds to MFTHBA Database Update Effort

The Arizona Fox Trotter Association has notified the MFTHBA that they are dissolving and will be donating their remaining organization funds to support the MFTHBA database update.

“After a long search our board has decided to donate the $9,118.92 balance in our treasury to the MFTHBA to be used for the designated purpose to upgrade the MFTHBA computer system,” shared AFTA President Clare Ross.

The database upgrade was set as a priority at the recent MFTHBA Board of Directors workshop.  The focus of the update will be the development of a new system that is fully integrated, enhances work flow and productivity at the office, improves record keeping and encourages membership participation.  The goal of the new system will be to expand the Association’s current capabilities and provide our members more resources.

The MFTHBA Board of Directors has set a goal for 2018 to identify a system that meets the above priorities and begin conversion by the end of 2018.

While the MFTHBA regrets the loss of the Arizona Fox Trotter Association as an organization and affiliate, the Board of Directors expresses their gratitude to Mr. Ross and the AFTA Board of Directors for the generous support of this effort.
