The Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Breed Association Board of Directors held a special meeting on June 26, 2025, to address a few time-sensitive matters ahead of the next regularly scheduled board meeting on July 21.

Water Truck Purchase
The Board discussed the current challenges with our aging water trucks, which are essential for maintaining the roads and arenas during events. With parts for the existing vehicles becoming increasingly challenging to source and with an outside event approaching, the Board voted to purchase a used Ford diesel truck from Tate’s Septic. While not new, the truck is considerably newer than the ones currently in use, and the owner of Tate’s Septic extended a generous offer to the MFTHBA. This purchase will help ensure we continue to provide well-maintained grounds for exhibitors and guests.

New DQP Appointment
The Board also approved the appointment of Rodney Johnson as a new Designated Qualified Person (DQP). We appreciate his willingness to serve in this important role, and we look forward to his contributions to the continued success and integrity of our events.
