MFTHBA Celebration National Trail Ride @ North Fork River Ranch

National Trail Ride sponsored by the MFTHBA at the North Fork River Ranch in West Plains, MO, September 1-4, 2021. Restroom, shower and laundry room. 75 Primitive and full service campsites as well as a bunkhouse and cabins available. 7 barns with 171 stalls available. Bring your own stall bedding or it can be purchased on site at $5.50 per bag delivered to your stall. There’s a general store on site. Trails are easy to moderate. Ranch land joining with the Mark Twain National Forest with river crossings, gravel roads, pastures, rocky terrain and dirt paths. Contact Mike Meizler at 417-280-2218 for more information. Michigan National Trail Ride @ D Bar D Ranch

MFTHBA National Trail Ride in Michigan sponsored by the Michigan Fox Trotter Association on September 17-19, 2021 at the D Bar D Ranch in Chase MI. Primitive camping $20 per night or with electric and water $30 per night, a lodge is also available. Picket line or pens for the horses. This is a 400 acre ranch with over 8 miles of beautifully marked trails. Borders federal lands with more trails to ride. The trails are sandy (could go barefoot) with a few Michigan hills. Saturday ride- Bingo from 10am to 3pm, a silent auction, NTR tee shirts available, Meet n greet Saturday night -bring a desert to share. The Sunday ride will meet at campsite #10 at 10am to leave on the ride. Fall Ride @ Boston Mountain Horse Camp

National Trail Ride sponsored by the North Central Arkansas Affiliate at the Boston Mountain Horse Camp in Witts Springs, AR, September 24-26, 2021. 10 campsites with water and electric at $25 per night.  22 covered stalls available at $5 per night. Stall bedding is required and can be purchased on site at $8 per bag. Ice is available for $3 per bag. Will leave from the barn at 10am and have a potluck supper at 5pm on Saturday. Easy to moderate due to water crossings and mountain terrain. Well marked trails in the Ozark National Forest along the Richland Creek. The Ozark National Forest is known for its sparkling blue water with waterfalls, springs unique rock formations, caves and breathtaking overlooks. Horses will require shoes.
