2025 Cowboy Classic Dates Approved

Trail Committee Year-End Report

The Trail Committee provided an update on year-end awards. Congratulations to everyone who contributed to making 2024 an incredible year for our National Trail Ride Program!

Three-Year-Old Futurity Rules Updated

The Board approved the proposed changes to the rules for the Three-Year-Old Futurity, which were posted for member feedback on the MFTHBA website on September 20, 2024.

Region 10 Director Selected

James Fitzpatrick of Virginia was selected as the next Region 10 Director. Thank you to both excellent candidates for their willingness to serve.

For those who expressed interest in serving on a committee through the committee interest survey, the committee chairperson will contact you to discuss your interest further.

2025 Spring Show and Celebration Dates

The board confirmed that the dates for the MFTHBA shows will be as follows:

• Spring Show and Three Year Old Futurity: June 11-14, 2025
• World Show and Celebration: August 31-September 6, 2025

Draft Strategic Plan for Member Feedback

A draft strategic plan will be available in the members-only section of the MFTHBA website. Members are encouraged to review it and provide feedback to help guide the association’s future.
