Michigan August Family Ride

August Family Ride – National Trail Ride sponsored by the Michigan Foxtrotter Assoc. on August 8-9 at Sheck’s Place Trail Camp in Traverse City, MI. Facilities: Rustic, outhouses, will water $15 per night, sun & shade for the horses on picket lines. Potluck Saturday night at 6pm. MFTA will provide the meat. Well maintained trails are shaded, sandy flat and rolling hills in mixed oak and pine forest. The Boardman River is nearby. Trails run 20 miles East and West in each direction. Note: Please stay off the marked ski trails.Canoes are available for rent from nearby Ranch Rudolph. Fishing allowed on Booadman River.
