Let’s look forward to spring and the kickoff of the Spring Show and Three Year Old Futurity on June 10-13, 2015 at the MFTHBA World Headquarters in Ava, Missouri. Exhibitors will be participating in a variety of performance, model and versatility classes as well as the trail obstacle challenge.

“The Show and Versatility committees evaluated participation in last year’s show and made recommendations to the Board on a few class changes,” said Dr. Joyce Graening, MFTHBA President. “We hope exhibitors will like the changes.”

New this spring!!! Versatility classes have been moved to Friday and Saturday.

The popular trail obstacle challenge classes will also be hosted on Saturday. These classes utilize the Fox Trot Play Ground, an obstacle challenge course located on the MFTHBA show grounds.

Show Bill Changes:

• The under-entered Open 3 Yr old Class was changed to Am Owned 3 yr & Older NPT 90 days
• Ladies 4 yrs & Older mares is now the Ladies 5 yrs & Older mares
• Ladies 4 yrs & Older Stallions & Geldings is now Ladies 5 yrs & Older Stallions & Geldings.
• Classic horse now includes all horses 10 yrs of age & Older
• Open Pony Model was added

“The Spring Show is a wonderful show for those just getting involved with Missouri Fox Trotters to attend,” Graening added. “It’s a more relaxed environment than the World Show and Celebration we host in September which makes it a perfect time for people new to the breed to connect with other Missouri Fox Trotting Horse owners.”
