The Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Breed Association (MFTHBA) is pleased to announce an upcoming Judges Training Seminar, scheduled for May 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in Mount Vernon, Missouri. This seminar offers a valuable opportunity for individuals aspiring to become licensed MFTHBA judges, as well as for current judges seeking to renew their credentials.

Seminar Details:

• Date & Time: Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
• Location: Mount Vernon, Missouri
• Registration Fee: $25 (includes judge’s card)

Pre-Seminar Requirements:

Prospective participants are required to complete the following preparatory steps prior to attending the seminar:

1. Review the MFTHBA Rule Book: A thorough understanding of the association’s rules and standards is essential.
2. Watch Educational Videos:

   • MFTHBA Judging Seminar

1. Complete the Written Judges Test: The test is available on the MFTHBA website under Forms and Downloads – Judges Forms – Judges Test. Participants must bring their completed test to the seminar.

Apprenticeship Opportunity:

Attendees of the seminar will have the opportunity to apprentice judge during the Spring Kickoff Horse Show, providing practical experience under the guidance of seasoned professionals.
