Entry Requirements

ALL horses entering the show grounds MUST have a current negative Coggins (EIA) test AND a Certificate of Veterinary Inspections within 30 days regardless of state of origin. These papers must be presented at the show grounds gate.  Each horse will be charged a $10 gate entry fee.

The Board recommends that all horses be vaccinated for influenza within a few weeks of arrival at the showgrounds.

Entering a Horse in the show

  1. ALL horses entered in the show must be registered in the Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Breed Assoc. or Missouri Fox Trotting Pony Registry
  2. Negative Coggins papers with the horse pass sticker and original registration papers must be presented at the entry desk. Horse Pass Sticker will be received when papers and horse is inspected at the show grounds entry gate.

Horses pre-entered should present appropriate paperwork at the MFTHBA Office to receive horse numbers.

Show Office Hours 

Sunday –  Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Saturday 8:30 to 2:00 PM

Closed for lunch from 12 to 1pm except on Saturday

Entries will be accepted only during show office hours

Note: Versatility class entries close at 9am Mon-Wed and Ranch Horse classes must be pre-entered for Thursday. If there are not enough entries in Ranch Horse cattle classes, they will be cancelled. Evening performance & model class entries will close at 4:30 pm and Saturday entries will close at 2:00 pm.

The Board reserves the right to combine or split classes and to revise the class schedule as needed.
