This ride is located in the Ross’ Hole area where Lewis & Clark camped with the Flathead Indians for 2 days on their way to the Pacific. The actual camp site of Lewis & Clark is about 15 miles from the ride site.

Sponsored by the Utah Fox Trotting Horse Breed Assoc. Primitive camping, fix your own meals. The elevation is above 8,000 feet and some trails can bee a little steep but of moderate difficulty. We recommend that horses be shod.
