MFTHBA Events

Each year the MFTHBA hosts several events that guests from around the world attend. We invite you to join us at one or more of the following events.

World Show and Celebration: World class competition can be found each September at the World Show and Celebration. Held the week of Labor Day, this event includes performance, model, versatility, ranch sorting and ranch horse competition. In addition to the competition in the ring, attendees can take advantage of the daily organized trail rides. Various special events are hosted throughout the week including educational seminars and clinics. The event also includes various vendors for those that like to shop. Spring Show and Three Year Old Futurity: Each June, horses from across the country make their way to the MFTHBA World Headquarters to take part in the MFTHBA’s Spring Show and Three Year Old Futurity. This four day event, includes performance, model, versatility, ranch sorting and ranch horse competition. The highlight of the competition in the ring is the annual Three Year Old Futurity. During this event, three year old horses make the showing debut highlighting the disposition and performance of the Missouri Fox Trotting Horse. The event also includes daily organized trail riders, youth seminar, vendors and other special events. Advertising and sponsor opportunities are available. Annual Youth Seminar: Held in conjunction with the Spring Show and Three Year Old Futurity, the Youth Seminar is a great opportunity for youth members to expand the equine knowledge. The one-day event is open to youth ages 6 to 17 years of age. Topics vary each year.

National Trail Rides: Each year, MFTHBA members around the world get together at official MFTHBA National Trail Rides. Each trail ride lasts at least two days. Locations vary each year. The National Trail Ride program welcomes people riding all breeds of horse, but if you’re a member in good standing of the MFTHBA and are riding a registered Missouri Fox Trotting horse, you can earn credit toward your award for each ride you go on. MFTHBA Carded Judges Clinics: Periodically, the MFTHBA hosts clinics to card new MFTHBA judges. Clinic locations and time vary. Attending a clinic is the first step in becoming a MFTHBA carded judge. For more information visit the Judges Clinic page at MFTHBA.com/judges-clinics
