MFTHBA Seeking Volunteer Camp Host for the World Show and Celebration
The Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Breed Association (MFTHBA) is seeking a dedicated volunteer to serve as Camp Host during the 2025 World Show and Celebration, held August 31–September 6 at the MFTHBA World Headquarters in Ava, Missouri.
This important volunteer role helps ensure that our guests enjoy a safe, welcoming, and well-organized camping experience throughout the week.
Responsibilities of the Camp Host include:
- Greeting campers and helping them locate their assigned camping spots.
- Serving as a point of contact for questions and concerns related to the RV park.
- Monitoring the RV park area to help ensure that rules and guidelines are followed.
- Verifying that camping spots are reserved and paid for.
- Communicating with MFTHBA staff about maintenance needs or emergencies.
- Helping foster a positive, community-friendly atmosphere in the RV park.
The Camp Host will work closely with MFTHBA staff and volunteers to make sure our members and guests feel at home during the Celebration.

In recognition of their service, the selected Camp Host will receive one complimentary camping spot for the entire week of the Celebration.
