Humans and Horses: Kolbey Ballowe and Cerra Sunrise

It’s easy to see why Cerra Sunrise is the Leighton/Jolley-Ballowe family’s favorite fox trotter. Sharon Jolley Ballowe describes this exceptional mare, “She is a seventeen year old mare, born, raised, and shown by two generations of the Leighton/Jolley-Ballowe family.” Sharon, Karen, and Kolbey have all won World Grand Championships with her. “Cerra Sunrise is not only physically beautiful, with her dark palomino color and thick, wavy mane and tail, but is also a very pleasant horse with an incredible disposition.” Connor Leighton describes Cerra the best, saying “She is like a limited edition. They don’t come around often.”
