Show managers, exhibitors and other interested parties are encouraged to provide feedback on MFTHBA carded judges.  “This evaluation form has been available to show managers for a number of years but hasn’t been available online till now,” shared Dr. Joyce Graening, MFTHBA President.

The first page of the form includes a ranking chart and space to provide additional feedback.  The second page of the form includes information on the submitter including their name, MFTHBA member number, role at the show and signature.  The form may be completed online, printed and mailed to the MFTHBA office.

Once received in the office, the first page of the evaluation form will be shared with judge, the judges training committee as well as put into the judges file for future reference.  Confidentiality of the submitter will be maintained and not shared with the judge.

Feedback shared by interested parties is a valuable tool in helping the MFTHBA improve its judge training process as well as providing information to individual judges on how they can better meet the expectations of show management.  It is important to note that the form is not only focused on areas of improvements but also recognizing judges that are performing their duties well.  “We hope people will take time to provide our judges positive feedback,” said Dr. Graening.
