Western Horsemanship brings light hands, subtle cues, and an appreciation for the ultimate benefits derived from a true partnership between horse and rider. The concept of “lightness” and subtle cues grew from its acceptance. They found that the result was good for both horse and rider.
David will teach about riding the MFT during the morning session and will actually coach up to 12 participants with their own horse in the afternoon while the others listen and observe his techniques for training.

This is an all-day fox trotting show. There will be preliminary classes first, followed by a break and then the championship classes.
This show is for registered fox trotters and will include model and performance classes. Qualifying classes will be held first, followed by the championship classes. It will be a 3-judge show. This is the 30th anniversary show for SCFTHS.
