Congratulations to the 2021 MFTHBA Stallion of the Year…Grand Central! He was bred by Steve Maxey of Watkinsville, Georgia, and he is owned by Joe and Jennifer Stewart of Springdale, Arkansas. This is the ninth straight year that Grand Central has been named to the Stallion of the Year Top 5, and it is the eighth year in a row that he has won the top honor.

The MFTHBA congratulates Grand Central and the Stewart family on this accomplishment. Thank you for your contributions to the Missouri Fox Trotting Horse breed.

The Stallion of the Year Award:

Designed to honor the stallion with the most successful offspring at MFTHBA sponsored shows, a point system was applied to all MFTHBA show classes.  Thanks to the new MFTHBA database, this was the first year that all classes earned points towards this award.  In the past, only Futurity classes, Futurity championship classes, Spring Show championship classes, and World Grand Championship classes were counted.  In 2021, 122 stallions earned points toward the award.
