The Bob Burns Memorial National Trail Ride is sponsored by the Douglas County Fox Trotters Affiliate. September 22 & 22. The Flying R Ranch offers RV sites available $25 for single or $35 for double. Extra person is $10 per person daily. Cabins and Bunkhouse rooms available(call for rates and availability). Covered lighted stalls at $5 per stall per night. Wash rack, shavings, water. Dining hall with meal packages or individual meals. There are ove 400 acres with newly marked trails on the Flying R property, plus we join the Mark Twain National Forest on three sides of the ranch. The Flying R ranch will provide the meat for the ride and invite riders to bring a dish for a potluck dinner. for reservations call 417-204-2502

Rockbridge National Trail Ride, September 28 & 29. Rv sites with electricity. Corrals & water for the horses. Wooded trails with openings, creeks and hills, suitable for most experience levels. Leave camp at 10 am on Friday & Saturday rides. Will have a sack lunch brought out during ride. $230 includes the campsite, ride and meals for 2 days for 2 people or $145 for an individual.
