Spring Fling National Trail Ride sponsored by the Arkansas Chapter of the MFTHBA. May 15 & 16 at Shelton’s Big Flat Getaway in Big Flat, AR. Camping: 30 trailer sites eith water and electric. Dump station available. Bath house. Seven cabins available. Stalls: 34 covered stalls available, shavings available for a small fee. Pot luck on Saturday night at the covered outdoor stage. Trails adjoin the Ozark National Forest and Leatherwood Wilderness part of the lower Buffalo River. Bryce Canyon National Trail Ride sponsored by the Utah Fox Trotting Horse Breed Association on May 22 & 23 at Bryce Canyon, UT. Facilities Various RV sites and primitive camping. Paid stalls at Ruby’s Inn. Trails are moderate but are at 8000 feet so some conditioning is recommended. Certified weed free hay is required. Important additional information and directions here.
