Arkansas Chapter of the MFTHBA’s annual Pink Ride for breast cancer awareness, October 22, 2022 at the Buffalo River, Highway 65 bridge. Ride will promptly start at 10am on Saturday. This is a 1 day ride for cancer awareness. Park at the pull off on Highway 65 to the left South on 65 before you cross the Buffalo River. Turn right after you cross the bridge going North on Highway 65. There is a $10 charge to the MFTHBA trail program per rider and donation for the cancer society. Brushy Creek Lodge and Resort 7th annual National Trail Ride in Black, MO, October 21-23. There are 30 and 50 amp RV spots with water $40 to $50 per night; restroom and shower house; cabins available to rent and primitive camping. Covered stalls at $10 per night per horse, shavings provided but you will need to clean your stalls before leaving. Will have a BBQ and music on Saturday night at Valley Springs Foxtrotters. There are over 130 miles of trails, easy to moderate in the Mark Twain National Forest that the property backs up to. Some Creek crossings. Horses should be shod. Louisiana Chapter of the MFTHBA “Pink Ride”. October 22, 2022 at the Roaring Creek Camp in Glenmora, LA. This isa a 1 day guided ride 2 to 3 hours. $10 per person to the MFTHBA trail program and a donation of your choice for breast cancer. There are 10 water and electric hookups at $10 per night. Open pens for the horses. Trails are easy, pine forest and hardwood bottom land, sandy. Horse shoes optional.

Halloween National Trail Ride sponsored by the North Central Arkansas Affiliate at the Boston Mountain Horse Camp in Witts Springs, AR, October 29-30, 2022. 10 campsites with water and electric at $30 per night. 22 covered stalls available at $5 per night. Stall bedding is required and can be purchased on site at $8 per bag. Ice is available for $3 per bag. Rides will leave from the barn at 10am. Easy to moderate due to water crossings and mountain terrain. Well marked trails in the Ozark National Forest along the Richland Creek. The Ozark National Forest is known for its sparkling blue water with waterfalls, springs unique rock formations, caves and breathtaking overlooks. Horses will require shoes.
