Big Creek National Trail Ride, October 13-16.  Sponsored by the MFTHBA. Campground: 50 amp electrical hookups and water at each site. Spacious sites within walking distance to dining hall, clean shower and restroom facilities. Stalls: lighted, clean covered stalls with water hookups. Shaving and pellets available to purchase. 1 mile North of Summersville, MO on Hwy. 17, turn on K Hwy.
Travel 11 miles North on Hwy K, turn left on Co. Rd. 385.
Travel 7 miles on Co. Rd. 385.
Watch for Big Creek Trail Ride Signs.

National Trail Ride for Breast cancer awareness , October 14-16, 2022. Location is the Big South Fork at the Spruce Creek Horse Camp in Jamestown, TN. 100’s of miles of trails that are are easy to moderate with sandstone,creek crossings and great views. Big South Fork is the premier trail riding destination in the Eastern United States. This is a ride with donations for the cancer society solicited, wear your pink! Brushy Creek Lodge and Resort 7th annual National Trail Ride in Black, MO, October 21-23. There are 30 and 50 amp RV spots with water $40 to $50 per night; restroom and shower house; cabins available to rent and primitive camping. Covered stalls at $10 per night per horse, shavings provided but you will need to clean your stalls before leaving. Will have a BBQ and music on Saturday night at Valley Springs Foxtrotters.  There are over 130 miles of trails, easy to moderate in the Mark Twain National Forest that the property backs up to. Arkansas Chapter of the MFTHBA’s annual Pink Ride for breast cancer awareness, October 22, 2022 at the Buffalo River, Highway 65 bridge. Ride will promptly start at 10am on Saturday. This is a 1 day ride for cancer awareness. Park at the pull off on Highway 65 to the left South on 65 before you cross the Buffalo River. Turn right after you cross the bridge going North on Highway 65. There is a $10 charge to the MFTHBA trail program per rider and donation for the cancer society.
