The Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Breed Association (MFTHBA) will host a judges training seminar during the 2015 World Show and Celebration. The seminar, scheduled to start at 9 a.m. on Monday September 7, is open to those interested in getting their MFTHBA judges’ cards for the first time as well as those wishing to renew their current card. The training will be held in the Hall of Fame Room, located at the MFTHBA World Headquarters in Ava, Missouri.

During the three hour seminar, potential judges will review the policies and procedures outlined in the MFTHBA Rule Book for judges as well as receive education on the MFTHBA’s standard for the gaits of the Missouri Fox Trotting Horse. The first two hours of the seminar will be classroom work in the Hall of Fame Room. The last hour will conducted at the Dale Esther Arena.

Those interested in attending should contact the MFTHBA office at (417) 683-2468 or foxtrot@mfthba.com to register and pay the $25 registration fee. Individuals should register by September 1, 2015.

Prior to the workshop, attendees should thoroughly review the 2015 MFTHBA Rule Book. Attendees may take the judges test prior to the workshop or complete it during the week of the World Show and Celebration. Time will not be allotted during the workshop for completion of the test.
