Congratulations to Hollywood Playboy on being named a 2019 Top 5 Stallion. Hollywood Playboy is being named a Top 5 Stallion for the second time.  He was bred by Lee Hackler of Alma, Arkansas, and he is owned by Kenneth and Carol Terry of Gainesville, Missouri.

Hollywood Playboy’s offspring did well in 2019. Notable offspring include the Open Three Year Old Reserve World Grand Champion, Hollywood’s Vesta Lou, owned by Hadleigh Luthy of Lebanon, Missouri, the Open Four Year Old World Grand Champion, Hollywood’s Sly Fox, owned by Katy Dampier and Colton Stepp of Strafford, Missouri, and the Open Amateur Three Year Old Reserve World Grand Champion, Hollywood Material Girl, owned by Lee Hackler, of Alma, Arkansas.

The Stallion of the Year Award:

Designed to honor the stallion with the most successful offspring at MFTHBA sponsored shows, a point system was applied to pre-designated classes.  All World Grand Champion classes, Spring Show Championship Classes, and Three-Year-Old Futurity preliminary and championship classes were included in the calculations.  In 2019, 101 stallions earned points toward the award.

This week we will highlight each stallion in the Top 5 for the award leading up to the naming of the 2019 MFTHBA Stallion of the Year on Friday.

All Top 5 Stallions will be honored at the 2020 Spring Show and Futurity in June.
