Membership Special Announced for Celebration Week
The MFTHBA Membership Committee will be kicking off the 2017 MFTHBA Membership Drive during the 2016 World Show and Celebration. “We offered the same special last year and had a great response,” shared Amy Stangl, MFTHBA Membership Committee Chairman. “We want to encourage those that are not already members to join but we also want to provide a little extra incentive to our current members to go ahead and renew for 2016.”
Anyone that renews or becomes a new member between Friday September 2 and September 9 will be entered to win a $100 MFTHBA gift certificate. Plus, new members get 4 extra months of benefits since memberships sold during this week will be 2016 and 2017 Memberships. Individuals may purchase or renew their membership online at MFTHBA.com, by contacting the MFTHBA office at (417) 683-2468 or stopping by the office during regular business hours. Individuals may also mail your renewal to the office however it must arrive in the office during the dates listed above.
Winner will be announced during the Friday night session of the 2016 World Show and Celebration. “You do not need to be present to win the $100 gift certificate,” added Stangl.
New this year is an added special for new MFTHBA members. Anyone joining as a new member during Celebration week will receive a gift certificate for one free horse nomination in the MFTHBA’s Fox Trot America Program. “Fox Trot America is a great program for anyone that rides a Missouri Fox Trotting Horse,” shared Amber Wilson, Region 4 Director. “All hours spent riding a Missouri Fox Trotter can be logged regardless of where you ride.” The program then recognizes individuals for their accumulated hours over their horse’s lifetime as well as recognizing yearly region high hour winners. All participants that submit an hours log by January 31 are also entered to win a free custom Hedgpeth Saddle. Gift certificates will be included with your MFTHBA membership card along with a Fox Trot America nomination form. Recipients are asked to use the gift certificate by December 1.
