The MFTHBA Trail Committee recently announced a new National Trail Ride to be held at Coldwater Ranch. The ride, scheduled for April 2-5, 2015, is the first MFTHBA National Trail Ride hosted by Coldwater Ranch. Located in Southcentral Missouri near Eminence, Missouri, Coldwater Ranch has 25 trailer sites with water and electrical hook-ups at each site. The facility includes 50 large covered horse stalls. For those that do not want to camp, there are cabins that can be rented.

“Coldwater Ranch offers a combination of private and public lands containing over 200 miles of trails to explore on your own or you can join the guided rides which will be held each day,” shared Steve Assenmacher, MFTHBA Trail Committee Chairman. “The trails are will maintained and wind through woodland meadows and rocky hills. Riders will encounter numerous creek and river crossings as well as caves that need to be explored. The Current River is just a few trail miles away.”

Kathy Phillips, the owner of the Coldwater Ranch, has 25 years of experience caring for trail riders and she is committed to making your trail riding experience positive. Full meal packages are available or riders can do their own meals. Individual meals can also be purchased at the Cold Creek Restaurant.
